Nicolas Chartier’s Voltage Pictures announced the casting on Monday [10] after launching pre-sales in Cannes. Production commenced on Jun 8 on the Gold Coast, Australia.

CAA handles US rights to the thriller and also represents previously announced star John Cusack.

Brian Trenchard-Smith will direct the story about a bank thief who coerces an ex-Formula 1 champion into becoming his getaway driven.

Cusack will play the criminal and Jane the former motor racing driver turned driving instructor who finds himself at the mercy of the thief.

Kirk Shaw of Odyssey Media Inc, Paul O’Kane and Pam Collis are producing.
