Screen International is profiling all the winners of the fourth Global Production Awards, which were held tonight (May 18) at the Mademoiselle Gray Barriere in Cannes.

Sustainable Production Award — TV
Winner: All Her Fault (NBCUniversal, US)
This category was open to an individual TV scripted production showcasing best practice in sustainable green filming with producers, studios, production companies or teams eligible to tilt at the prize. The winning entry had to provide demonstrable evidence of how the production delivered a plan on sustainability with measurable contribution to carbon reduction and/or offsetting and benefits to the environment and location/community.
In winning, the mystery thriller miniseries All Her Fault showed how production delivered a plan on sustainability with measurable contribution to carbon reduction and/or offsetting and benefits to the environment and location/community.
One judge praised the production’s “exceptional sustainability leadership with industry-first innovations and the strong cross-departmental integration”.
The production achieved remarkable milestones, including six weeks of battery-only filming. Another judge cited standout achievements including 100% renewable energy matching, complete stage electricity from renewables and 95% waste diversion in the art department.
The top-down commitment to sustainability from lead talent and producer support with the production’s dedicated eco-department was also heralded. “Supporting the local community with wrap gifts was a nice touch,” added another.
