Don Jon’s Addiction’s North American sales representatives CAA and WME have been spending Sunday hearing marketing pitches from around seven suitors as the asking price is understood to have reached $4-5m.

Acquisitions executives said a deal on Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s feature directorial debut [pictured] could materialise by Monday. Voltage Pictures financed the rom-com and has licensed UK rights to Warner Bros and French rights to Mars. The film’s representatives did not return emails to confirm the asking price.

Meanwhile StudioCanal is fielding offers on Michael Winterbottom’s The Look Of Love starring Steve Coogan. The Paul Raymond biopic has not been short of admirers since Saturday evening’s premiere and RADiUS-TWC is understood to be among those in pursuit.

StudioCanal financed the project, represents worldwide rights and will distribute in the UK. Film4 developed the story about the Britsh adult entertainment mogul.
