The singers from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters will give their first-ever live performance outside the US, at this month’s Bafta Film Awards on Sunday, February 22.

Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Remi Ami, who provide the singing voices for the film’s fictional group HUNTR/X, will perform hit track ‘Golden’ from the film’s soundtrack.

KPop Demon Hunters has had a phenomenal impact on the hearts and minds of audiences of all ages around the world since its release last summer,” said Emma Baehr, executive director of awards & content at Bafta. ”Not only are we here to celebrate exceptional films and the people who make them, we also want to create an unmissable night of entertainment.”

“Performing at the EE BAFTA Film Awards is a golden moment that our younger selves could never have imagined!” said a statement from the performing trio.

Released on Netflix in June 2025, KPop Demon Hunters has become Netflix’s most popular film ever, with over 500m streams.

The film has received awards from both the music and film industries, with accolades from the latter including two Golden Globes, for best motion picture – animated and best original song – motion picture for ‘Golden’.

It is double-nominated at the Oscars, for best animated feature film and best music (original song) for ‘Golden’.

‘Golden’ was the number one most-streamed song globally in 2026 according to Nielsen/Luminate, and currently holds that position in 2026, approaching 4bn total streams.

Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, KPop Demon Hunters follows Korean pop girl group HUNTR/X who lead double lives as demon hunters, and face off against a rival boy band who are secretly demons.

The 2026 Bafta Film Awards will screen as-live no BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday, February 22.

The ceremony will take place at the Royal Festival Hall at London’s Southbank Centre, hosted by Alan Cumming.
