Our Grand Despair’s German producer boarding new projects by Adrian Sitaru Xavier Simon, Norbert ter Hall

Unafilm, German co-producer of Seyfi Teoman’s Our Grand Despair, which has its world premiere in Competition today (Wed), has more co-productions lined up.

Titus von Kreyenberg’s Cologne/Berlin-based company will be a partner on Romanian filmmaker Adrian Sitaru’s black comedy Domestic (Sitaru won the DAAD Prize at last year’s Berlinale for his short The Cage).

In addition, von Kreyenberg has boarded Dutch company Phanta Vision’s Brussels-set romantic tragicomedy Atomium by Norbert ter Hall and Dolce Vita Films’ production of French first-time director Xavier Simon’s Shadowmaster which will shoot on location in Mongolia.

Both films will be distributed in Germany by Farbfilm Verleih.

At the same time, Unafilm is looking to produce several German features in the future and will start shooting Nicholas Wackerbarth’s next feature Halbschatten in late summer 2011.
