Keeley Hawes, Ann Dowd, Sam Riley and Ben Crompton have boarded the cast of Rebecca, which Ben Wheatley is directing for Working Title and Netflix.
They join the previously announced Lily James, Armie Hammer and Kristin Scott Thomas in the new adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s Gothic classic.
The film will start production next week in the UK and France.
Jane Goldman wrote the screenplay with revisions by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse. Producers are Working Title’s Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan alongisde Nira Park.
Bodyguard star Keeley Hawes’ upcoming credits include Philippa Lowthorpe’s Misbehaviour. Ann Dowd won an Emmy for The Handmaid’s Tale and also appeared in Hereditary. Sam Riley previously worked with Wheatley on Happy New Year, Colin Burstead and is set to reprise his role in the upcoming Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil. Actor/standup comedian Ben Crompton appeared in Game Of Thrones and Peterloo.
