‘All The Beauty And The Bloodshed’

Altitude Film Sales and Participant have secured key deals on Laura Poitras’ Venice Golden Lion winner All The Beauty And The Bloodshed.

The film has sold to France (Pyramide Films), Latin America (Sun Distribution Group), Australia-New Zealand (Madman), Benelux (Cineart), Japan (Klockworx), Greece (Strada), Portugal (Leopardes), Poland (Against Gravity), former Yugoslavia (MCF), Scandinavia/Baltics (Nonstop), South Korea (Challan), Taiwan (Hooray Films), Czech Republic-Slovakia (Film Europe), Turkey (Filmarti) and the Middle East (Front Row Entertainment).

Altitude Film Distribution will release the film in the UK and Ireland on January 27 next year, with Neon distributing in the US at the same time.

Other previously announced deals include German-speaking Europe (Plaion), Italy (I Wonder) and Spain (Filmin).

Using slideshows, interviews and photography, All The Beauty… tells the story of artist and activist Nan Goldin’s personal fight to hold the Sackler family accountable for the opioid overdose crisis.

Following its Venice debut – where it became only the second-ever documentary to win the Golden Lion – All The Beauty… has played numerous festivals including Toronto, Zurich, New York, London and Stockholm.

The film has been nominated for best director and best political documentary at the Critics Choice Documentary Awards; and best international independent film at the British Independent Film Awards.
