Principal photography is set to begin later this year in Ireland on the story of a vengeful children’s clown.

The producers closed the deal at AFM and will partner with the Irish Film Board. Conor McMahon will direct a cast that inlcudes British comedian Ross Noble and Tommy Knight.

McMahon’s credits include Disturbed, Dead Meat and the TV series Zombie Bashers.

“McMahon has revealed a unique cinematic vision and as he brings a fresh and twisted take to the genre, we’re excited to bring his next wild ride into production,” MPI Media Group evp Greg Newman said.
