Producer Dan Maag of Germany’s MaagFilm (The Aviator, Alexander) has joined Ken Nakamura of Nakamura Group Advantage and Jean-Luc Van Damme of Banana Films to develop the Canadian-Belgian-German co-production Wireless.
”Wireless is just perfect for significant financing from Germany, and I look forward to working with Ken Nakamura and Jean-Luc Van Damme,” Maag said. He added that Wireless was “a well-paced, entertaining and very commercial project — very rare in this difficult market when so many art house projects are offered to us.”

Derek Vanlint was the original director on the project until his death; now Jerry Cicoritto has taken the helm.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be working with such quality producers,” added Ken Nakamura. “Jean-Luc Van Damme and Dan Maag have impeccable taste in their selection of projects. I am extremely honored that they have reacted so positively to the material.”
