Untitled Jason Statham action thriller 
Jason Statham headlines Baltasar Kormákur’s action thriller set on a remote Scottish island, set to film in the UK and Iceland in November. Producers are Statham for Punch Palace Productions, Kormákur for RVK Studios, John Friedberg for Black Bear, Jon Berg and Greg Silverman. Range Select will co-rep US rights.

I Want Your Sex
Gregg Araki will direct Olivia Wilde in the erotic thriller set against the art world. Black Bear is fully financing and CAA Media Finance represents US rights. Production is scheduled for Los Angeles this summer.

Let the Evil Go West
Sebastian Stan and Lily James reunite after Pam & Tommy to star in the psychological horror thriller for Star Thrower Entertainment and Gramercy Park. CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group jointly handle US rights.

Bear Country
Russell Crowe reunites with his Unhinged director Derrick Borte on the action film about a club owner with cartel bosses breathing down his neck who gets robbed. Production on the Gold Coast of Australia is scheduled for October.

The Bookie And The Bruiser
Adrien Brody and Vince Vaughn will play two friends who get involved in an illicit gambling operation. US filmmaker S. Craig Zahler directs, with Keep Your Head Productions producing. UTA Independent Film Group and Range Media Partners are repping rights in North America.

Pillion 
Alexander Skarsgard and Harry Melling star in UK filmmaker Harry Lighton’s debut feature. The film follows a romance between a shy young man and the leader of a group of queer motorbikers. Element Pictures are producing.

Harmonia
Guy Nattiv will direct the drama about two young women who attempt to rescue their mother from a cult only to get sucked in themselves. Naomi Watts, Vicky Krieps, Bella Ramsey and Odessa Young star. Range Media Partners and CAA Media Finance represent US sales.

I Play Rocky
Peter Farrelly directs from a screenplay by Peter Gamble about the making of Syvester Stallone’s Oscar-winnng Rocky.  Baha Productions, Fireside Films, and Eden Rock Media are the production companies and CAA Media Finance represents US rights.

Dutch & Razzlekahn
Chloe Grace Moretz and Lewis Pullman are on the run from the FBI and Ariana DeBose’s blackmailed hacker. Based on a Business Insider article about the most expensive heist in history, the production is scheduled to shoot in Toronto this summer. CAA Media Finance handles US sales.

Fate
Andrew McCarthy, Faye Dunaway and Harvey Keitel will star in Baker Entertainment Group’s supernatural love story, which is set to begin shooting in Vancouver this month. Jonathan Baker directs.

Head Games
Samuel L Jackson and Henry Golding will star in this sci-fi thriller about a corporate spy posing as a personal chef. Anthony Mandler directs, with Range Media Partners, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Everlast Pictures producing. CAA Media Finance and Range Media Partners represent US rights.

Late Fame
Willem Defoe is to play a washed-up poet whose work is rediscovered by a group of artists. Sandra Hüller also stars, with Kent Jones directing. Killer Films produces. WME Independent, UTA Independent Film Group and Cinetic Media co-represent rights in North America.

The Zealot
Kodi Smit-McPhee and Djimon Hounsou are to star in director Vadim Perelman’s thriller, about an airport shuttle driver in Minneapolis who agrees to drive a stranded traveller to Chicago. Amasia Entertainment produces.

The Well Of Saint Nobody
Neil Jordan will direct this screen adaptation of his own novel, about a famous concert pianist who retires to rural Ireland. Helena Bonham Carter, Jeremy Irons and Aidan Quinn star. Turbine Studios and Four Provinces films are producing. CAA are co-repping North American rights.
International sales: Bankside Films 

Alpha
Titane filmmaker Julia Ducournau’s third feature stars Tahar Rahim and Golshifteh Farahani. The film’s sales agents described it as Palme d’Or winner Ducournau’s “most personal film yet”, but plot remains under wraps. Producers are Mandarin & Compagnie and Petit Film, in co-production with Frakas Productions. 
World sales: Charades, FilmNation Entertainment

This Blue Is Mine 
Zazie Beetz and Elizabeth Debicki are set to star in this psychosexual sci-fi set amid a family holiday in a tropical resort, and is the English-language debut of Brazilian director Iuli Gerbase. UTA Independent Film Group reps the US sale. Kamala Films produces.

The Death of Robin Hood
Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer will star in a dark reimagining of the classic folklore tale, from director Michael Sarnoski. Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett produce alongside Alexander Black.

Takes One To Know One
Jamie Bell and Olivia Cooke star in this unconventional romance from Italian director Natalie Biancheri, about two people who begin to fall in love while both in relationships with other people. Gail Egan, Claude Dal Farra, Brian Keady and Cooke are producing. CAA Media Finance are co-repping the US sales.

Flesh Of The Gods
Kristen Stewart and Oscar Isaac will star in the Hyperobject Industries thriller from Mandy director Panos Cosmatos set against the seductive backdrop of 1980s Los Angeles nightlife. CAA Media Finance and WME Independent represent US rights.

Sacrifice
Chris Evans, Anya Taylor-Joy, Salma Hayek and Brendan Fraser will star in the story of violent radicals who attack a charity gala. Romain Gavras (2023 Venice entry Athena) makes his English-language feature debut.

Rocket Science is fully financing and producing the upcoming Louis Leterrier sci-fi horror about a family trapped in their own home by a mysterious force. CAA Media Finance handles domestic sales. Casting is underway.

Power Ballad
John Carney will direct the musical comedy starring Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas, about a wedding singer and a rock star. 30West will finance with Screen Ireland, and Likely Story and Treasure Entertainment are producing. Shooting is underway in Dublin. 30West, WME Independent, and UTA Independent Film Group represent US rights.

The King Of Covent Garden
Anthony Hopkins is to star as celebrated composer George Frideric Handel in the story behind his famed work, Messiah. US filmmaker Andrew Levitas directs with Dan Lupovitz and Kevan Van Thompson producing.

Glenn Close, Jeremy Irons, Henry Winkler and Don Johnson have joined the cast of this comedy from My Week With Marilyn director Simon Curtis, set in a retirement home filled with forgotten talents. US-based Temple Hill Entertainment are producing. UTA Independent Film Group and CAA Media Finance will handle the US sale.

Nuremberg
WME Independent has boarded the previously announced historical thriller starring Russell Crowe, Rami Malek, and Michael Shannon, and will launch worldwide sales in Cannes. Nick Meyer’s Sierra Pictures is consulting on sales and distribution. James Vanderbilt directs and production is underway in Hungary.

Reckoner
Noomi Rapace will star in the psychological thriller and replaces Christina Hendricks due to scheduling conflicts. XYZ Films and Two & Two Pictures are producing. XYZ introduced the project in Cannes last year.

Double Booked
Adam Scott is starring in and making his directing debut with this revenge thriller, co-starring Sterling K. Brown, Zazie Beetz and Alexandra Daddario.

In The Wind
Pierce Brosnan is set to star in this romantic thriller from Simon Barry, the creator and showrunner on Netflix’s Warrior Nun, making his feature directing debut. Uri Singer’s Passage Pictures produces.

Joe Cole and Teagan Croft star in the first English-language project from directing duo Natasha Merkulova and Alexey Chupov, whose previous project Captain Volkonogov Escaped played in competition at Venice in 2021.

Sunny Dancer  
George Jaques directs this coming-of-age comedy about a teenager in remission from cancer, played by Bella Ramsey, who reluctantly attends a summer retreat. Further cast includes Louis Partridge and Ruby Stokes. Ken Petrie produces alongside Jaques.

Way Of The Warrior Kid
Chris Pratt stars as a Navy SEAL recovering from injury who helps his nephew find his inner warrior in this adaptation of the novel by Jock Willink, directed by McG and written by Will Staples. UTA Independent Film Group will handle North America.
